One-day conference on a diverse range of topics in German History, especially featuring scholars based in the North of the UK, and with a keynote by Professor Christina von Hodenberg.

German History in the North

The conference takes place at Manchester Metropolitan University and is organised by Craig Griffiths and Mercedes Peñalba-Sotorrío. The conference features historians from all career stages, including several PhD students.

In the spirit of previous German History in the North conferences, we particularly encourage the participation of researchers based in the North of England and the UK, although we welcome any researcher with or without institutional affiliation, based in the UK or overseas. Registration is free.
